Yes, and a...1) "Coordinate feedback ..."

Yes, and as you say it, in a hierarchy of common processing algorithm, it's a good suggestion, a source of what to do and what happens in the following levels. This is a good insight overall: take some processings/operators (comparions, transformations, etc.) which are simple, obvious at low level and are objectively present and translate them to the higher ones.

2) "Exploration, ... skipping"

Yes.

3) So, it merely accelerates sensory perception vs. being qualitatively different.

Right about acceler. - concepts/higher levels, taxonomies, compression also do that, they save exploration efforts of studying again the subject matter for each case.

However not "merely", because motor is "Will", while pure sensory perception is only Image, Representation. Will causes predictable changes in the input and is a source of driving the experiments and having proves that the world is predictable etc. (in a dynamic world). Except if you adjust only the camera angle or zoom or access a world without impacting it, Will/motor potentially changes the location of the body and of other bodies or changes the environment, which on its own may have other future impacts.

On the other hand the pure perception or "contemplation" are passive, they do not change the environment and the potential future input at the level of the input.

4) "It would work miracles if you try to formalize your musings :)."

Yes, 10x. However our languages and representations may be different.

PS. I saw the comment now, LOL.Todor "Tosh" Arnaudov - Twenkidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04922120675725429792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5038575496362915977.post-2816738707393646012018-02-05T22:55:56.448+02:002018-02-05T22:55:56.448+02:00"Motor" signals are a feedback, in my te..."Motor" signals are a feedback, in my terms a coordinate feedback.
Exploration, beyond passive perception, starts with skipping inputs or the whole direction.
So, it merely accelerates sensory perception, vs. being qualitatively different.
It would work miracles if you try to formalize your musings :).Boris Kazachenkohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04025561850220554347noreply@blogger.com
